Terms
What you are buying, how refunds work, what you may do with the files, and a plain statement that none of this is professional advice.
What you are buying
The Boring Business Deal Kit is a digital product: a spreadsheet model in .xlsx format and a workbook in PDF format. It is delivered as a download immediately after purchase. There is no physical item and no subscription; you pay once and the files are yours.
Refunds
If the kit is not useful to you, write to us within 30 days through the contact form and we will refund you in full. You do not need to justify it and you do not need to delete the files. A product that needs a hostile refund policy to survive is not a product worth selling.
How you may use it
A purchase licenses the kit for your own use, including for businesses you own or advise. You may edit the spreadsheet freely, and you may use the outputs in your own deal documents. You may not resell the files, republish them, or distribute them as your own product. If you want to use the kit with a team or inside a course, write to us and we will sort out a licence.
This is not advice
The kit, the database, and everything else on this site are research and educational material. They are not legal, accounting, tax, financial, or investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation about any specific transaction. Buying or starting a business carries real risk, including the risk of losing everything you put in; this site documents at least one owner who did. Engage a qualified accountant and attorney before money moves.
The benchmarks in the kit are starting points drawn from documented owners and public listings. They are not an appraisal of any business, and no model can tell you whether a seller is honest.
Accuracy and liability
Every figure we publish is sourced and attributed, and we correct errors in public on the corrections page. We cannot guarantee that a third-party figure is accurate, only that we have reported it faithfully and shown you where it came from. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of this material, and any liability is limited to what you paid for the kit.
Sponsorship
Sponsors buy a labelled slot and nothing else. They do not choose entries, review them before publication, or receive reader data. Paid links carry the sponsored attribute. The full policy is on the sponsor page.
